WIG WAG

THE FIRST FULL SIZED, ELECTRIC, RECYCLED, HANDICAP ACCESSABLE, 3D PRINTED
CAR IN ISRAEL !
The car is entirely made of recycled parts:
a police helicopter’s xenon flashlight setting system is used for steering;
an upgraded Berlingo Renault found in a junkyard is used for the chassis;
old bicycle parts are used for gears/transmission.

Handicap accessibility is the highlight –
instead of a steering wheel and pedal, the driver can navigates with a joystick!

Here’s how we made it:
The car has first exhibited in the Defense Ministry’s Tech Conference on battlefield technology,
then moved to the Jerusalem Science Museum,
and today, WIG-WAG is a part of a permanent collection at the Beersheba Science Museum.
Such an honor!

We also made a small RC model of the car printed in SLA
