Hardware Development

We are engaged in the development of various types of electronic products, and specialize in managing all stages of product development, from defining the requirements and characterizing the product, through the various concepts, designing a printed circuit board (PCB), choosing manufacturing methods and building a prototype.

Our R&D team includes specialists in PCB design, electronic circuits, embedded systems, and integration for different electronics components.
The combination of developers from different disciplines in KD Tech. allows us to provide our clients multidisciplinary research & development services at the highest level.

The hardware development process usually includes the following main steps:

1. Product characterization, setting requirements, and writing a SOW (statement of work).
2. Research and review of available off-the-shelf components which can be used for the electronic development needs of the product or saving in the product’s development costs.
3. PCB design (printed circuit board) using appropriate software.
4. Ordering off-the-shelf components and microcontrollers
5. PCB Manufacturing
6. Building a prototype and testing functionality of the hardware.

We emphasize the definition of product requirements and comprehensive research work, and believe that when it comes to patents and products in the field of electronics, there is no substitute for orderly, documented and comprehensive work and definition of requirements that matches the available production technology and components in the market at any given moment.
